Jill Corso –  founder of the original project and co-founder of VoA. Jill has been working in the outdoors for more than 30 years and holds a wide range of NGB qualifications. Passions include climbing, caving and ironman triathlon. She has also raced on the triathlon GB Age-Group team.

Chris with a mouthwatering glass of beer in front of him. Chris Calvert – Chris has been involved in outdoor pursuits since he was a child and holds a teaching degree in Outdoor Education. He now spends his time training for and racing in triathlons and has competed at international level as part of the GB Age Group team. Having been the administrator of Bamburgh Castle he has eleven years of office based experience. He enjoys cake and the occasional beer.

Freelance Staff​

Liz Barlow – Has worked in the outdoors for many years and also holds a wide rage of NGBs. She has worked on the original project from the beginning. Liz is a keen climber, caver and has also raced in the GB triathlon team. Liz Barlow canoeing
Dave B with his triathlon medal Dave Barker  – Dave is a well qualified instructor with many years experience. His passion is winter mountaineering and he holds the MIC qualification. He has worked on the project for several years. Dave is currently training hard for next year’s Bolton Ironman triathlon.
Paddy Finn – Retired Business study teacher and management trainer. He races for the GB Age-Group triathlon team and is a coach at the Kendal triathlon club. Paddy also coaches on our triathlon training events. Paddy running in his GBR outfit
