Vision of Adventure are entering a team in the London to Brighton Cycle Event on 15th September 2019. We are hoping to have at least 15 entries in this iconic event. Yes, thats 15 tandems with 30 cyclists cycling the 55 miles from Clapham Common all the way to the beach at Brighton. Sighted adults can also enter on a solo bike.
Exact starting and meet up information has yet to be formulated. But we will be taking the bikes down the previous day and we can meet up with participants en route at motorway service stations etc. For those that don’t live in London we’ll be finding some accommodation the night before. We will be travelling back from Brighton after the event and potentially getting back to Kendal in the small hours. Again, somehow we’ll sort out accommodation if required!
If you’d like to enter, please contact us us to see if we have any places left. We have a limited number of tandem bikes available and they are going like hot cakes! Entrants are expected to raise at least £150 for Vision of Adventure which will go towards funding the charity for the 2020 season.
Our main aim is to enjoy the event (and eat lots of cake!). We are also hoping to raise some money for Vision of Adventure. If you have entered and want to create your own fund raising page, please see our donate page.
